Dr. Muntz came in to see us tonight. He is hoping to remove the drainage tubes tomorrow and hopefully we can go home on Friday.
For the first time we got to see what her ear looks like. The skin is still forming around it and is swollen so it will continue to change over the next few weeks. It was bittersweet to see the change. Part of me wants to jump for joy and the other part wants to bawl like a baby. It breaks my heart to change something so special about her but know in the end it will be worth it.
